Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Antonio Seivas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Toshiba Gomi!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gomi looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Seivas throws a right hand that Gomi ducks under and follows up with a left that Gomi also avoids with ease.
Some wild striking there from Gomi.
Seivas darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Gomi tries to roll over but Seivas keeps him under control.
Gomi throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Seivas wants to work for an arm triangle but Gomi is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Gomi moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Gomi working a defensive guard but Seivas manages to pass into side control anyway.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Gomi is trying to control Seivas's posture but Seivas avoids it.
Seivas lands an elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Seivas has an Americana. Gomi didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Seivas is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Seivas hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
