Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Cormier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tits McGee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cormier comes to the cage accompanied by Grafh - Knock'em Down. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Cormier sprawls well initially but McGee persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Cormier is looking to control McGee's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cormier avoid being mounted?
Cormier is refusing to be controlled, as McGee sits in half guard.

McGee throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

McGee suckers Cormier into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! McGee is now in Cormier's guard!

McGee rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Cormier counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Cormier prevents McGee from getting back to his feet.
McGee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cormier. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - McGee has eaten all the pies!
McGee is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Daniel Cormier just wasn't active enough.
McGee misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
McGee checks a low kick from Cormier.
Cormier gets a clinch.
Cormier content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Cormier tries to throw a body punch but McGee avoids it by throwing Cormier back against the cage.
McGee wants to get back to striking at distance but Cormier won't allow it.

McGee has Cormier pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Cormier manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

McGee drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Daniel Cormier has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tits McGee.
Cormier escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cormier tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Cormier throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Cormier avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Cormier changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. McGee tries to avoid it but Cormier manages to keep hold of a leg and drag McGee to the ground. McGee escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
McGee shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cormier but Cormier pushes him off and we're back to square one.
A decent looking cross lands there for McGee.
McGee cracks a nice hook into Cormier's ribs.

McGee shoots in for a takedown but Cormier shows good takedown defense.
McGee dives in and grabs Cormier's left leg, looking for a takedown. Cormier pushes down on McGee's head and hops out.
McGee fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cormier looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
McGee throws out a powerful jab.
McGee shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cormier sprawls well. Cormier wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McGee gets slowly back to his feet.
Cormier takes one on the chin but seems OK.
McGee misses with a right hand
and Cormier holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Cormier manages to pull guard.
McGee is posturing up here but Cormier has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! McGee tries to roll out but it's too tight and McGee has to tap! Slick submission there by Cormier!
