Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Thunder Jackson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Parker McQuail (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McQuail has chosen Glasgow Kiss as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Thunder Jackson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Parker McQuail! The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McQuail lands a nice shot that snaps Jackson's head back.
McQuail throws the left hand but Jackson avoids the punch easily. Jackson blocks a head kick by McQuail.

McQuail stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jackson swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jackson wants to stand but McQuail is controlling the position. Jackson trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. That's two minutes gone in the round. Jackson bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in McQuail's guard. McQuail wants to sweep but no luck. Jackson drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but McQuail manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Jackson has McQuail in his guard. Jackson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. McQuail lands a couple of decent looking shots. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McQuail postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. McQuail chips away with some ground and pound. McQuail lands a couple of decent looking shots. McQuail not landing any meaningful shots this time. McQuail wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jackson keeps working. McQuail wants to work for an arm triangle but Jackson is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
McQuail has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. McQuail wants to control but Jackson is keeping him busy. Jackson looks like he's trying to stand up.

It looks like Thunder Jackson has been cut. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McQuail with good strikes from the mount here! Jackson sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. McQuail shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jackson as he avoids it easily. Jackson throws a head kick but McQuail moves out of range.
Parker McQuail is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. McQuail gets in close and instigates a clinch. Jackson tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Jackson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. McQuail manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. McQuail is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Jackson rather than just go for the knockout. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Jackson fails in his attempt to clinch. Jackson tries to land a front kick but McQuail steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Thunder Jackson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Parker McQuail. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. McQuail throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A kick lands to the mid section there for Jackson. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McQuail fails to land with a series of punches.

That was a close second round but I would say that Thunder Jackson will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Thunder Jackson's cut. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Thunder Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jackson checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. McQuail with a hook. McQuail shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. McQuail fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Jackson.

A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Knees to the body from Jackson.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Jackson tries to clinch there but McQuail circles away.
McQuail shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jackson as he jumps to the side.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Thunder Jackson. I think Jackson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
