Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Gilbert Melendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Melendez comes to the cage accompanied by 2Pac-Ballad of a Dead Soulja. Perez has chosen Kill The Noise Pt. 1 as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Perez closes the distance and clinches up with Melendez, looking for a takedown. Perez pushes Melendez against the cage but Melendez circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Melendez feints and as Perez raises his hands in defense, Melendez changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
