The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martinez throws a low kick but it's checked well by Al Zahran.

Al Zahran lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Al Zahran throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Martinez stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Martinez takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Al Zahran lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A jab from Al Zahran finds it's way through Martinez's defenses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Al Zahran lands a nice hook to Martinez's body. Martinez takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Martinez has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Al Zahran.
Martinez's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Al Zahran lands a really nice looking cross but Martinez seems unphased.

Martinez gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Al Zahran gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
