Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Happy Day (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jayson Timmons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Timmons has chosen Marvin Gaye - Sexual Healing 2011 Remix as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
31 - 14 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Happy Day! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
24 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Jayson Timmons! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Day scores with a leg kick.
Day tries to clinch up. Day explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Timmons wants to land a leg kick but Day is out of range. Timmons on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Day. Day obviously looking to wear him down.
Timmons forces Day back against the cage and clinches. Day tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Timmons's elbow. Day lands with a short head shot on the inside. Timmons takes a shot to the head. Day tries to work over Timmons's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Timmons blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Day misses with a hook from the clinch. Day lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Timmons backwards. Timmons has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Day clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Day manages to reverse the position and now he's in Timmons's guard. Nice work there by Day.
That's one minute gone in the round. Day wants to stand but Timmons is controlling his posture from full guard. Timmons lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Day! Timmons unloads with some shots from mount but Day bucks and avoids them well.
Timmons jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Day is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Day and Timmons has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Timmons wants to lay and pray for a moment but Day keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Timmons in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time. Timmons lands a few punches from side control. Day wants to control but Timmons postures up. Timmons working the strikes but Day uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Timmons wants to free his trapped foot but Day is holding on for dear life with his legs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Timmons looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Timmons is trying to work for a kimura but Day is defending well.
Timmons seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Day does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Timmons takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Timmons is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Timmons looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Timmons moves into full mount! Day won't be happy about that! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Day is desperately trying to improve his position but Timmons has a good base and remains in mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Day tries to close the distance and clinch up but Timmons swats him away and circles back towards the center. Day misses with a leg kick. Good work by Day as he checks the leg kick. Timmons misses with a wild body shot. Timmons throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Day darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Happy Day seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Day instigates a clinch. Timmons is trying to trip Day. He has hold of a leg but Day is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Timmons persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Day keeping moving, preventing Timmons from controlling successfully. Day is wriggling around but Timmons manages to pass to half guard.
Day is refusing to be controlled, as Timmons sits in half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Timmons missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Timmons wants to control but Day is keeping him busy. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Day avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Timmons. Timmons looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Day is not content to let Timmons control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Day keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Timmons is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Day is trying to stand.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Jayson Timmons hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Day slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Timmons shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Day defends it nicely.

Day throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Timmons misses with a wild body shot. Day tries to close the distance and clinch but Timmons swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Timmons connects with the punch. Timmons tests Day's chin there with a solid looking shot. Timmons connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Day's hands. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Timmons fails in his attempt to clinch. A head kick by Timmons misses and Day connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jayson Timmons showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Day tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Timmons paws at him with a jab and circles away. Day throws a series of punches but Timmons avoids them all with ease. Timmons keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Day lands with a good body shot. Timmons throws a leg kick letting Day counter with a right hand. The fight stays on the outside here - Day looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Day throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Timmons looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Timmons tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Day paws at him with a jab and circles away. Timmons chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Timmons is working for takedown but Day is calmly controlling the position for now. Day throws a head punch that misses. Timmons's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Day tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Timmons's elbow. Day misses with a hook to the ribs.

Day is keeping the position for now. Happy Day has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Timmons wants to control from the top but Day keeps moving. Day can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Timmons controls the pace.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Day's guard. Timmons seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Day does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Timmons lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Timmons missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
