Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

17 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, A J Hearts!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Igor Prikhodko and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Black connects with a right hand. Hearts shakes it off.
Hearts wants to slow Black down by chopping away at his legs.
Hearts dodges the punch combination from Black.

Black throws a nice looking combination but Hearts bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Black steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hearts.

Black throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hearts throws the kick towards the body but Black avoids it.
Black throws a hook but Hearts blocks it.

Hearts shoots in looking for a takedown but Black manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hearts's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hearts tries to clinch but Black moves out of range.
Black throws a hook to the side of Hearts's head but Hearts sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Hearts fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Black manages to avoid it.
Black thows a left - swing and a miss!

A left lands for Hearts.
Hearts takes a swing at Black's ribcage but misses.
Hearts misses with an uppercut.
Black ducks under a wild hook from Hearts.
Black misses with a body shot.
Black swings for the body but Hearts moves out of range.
Black dips to his left and cracks Hearts with an uppercut!
Hearts wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Black walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Denard Black's cut is getting worse.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Black throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Hearts scores with a hook to the body. Black takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Nice takedown defense from Black. No joy for Hearts on that attempt.
Hearts closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Hearts is working Black over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Hearts gets to his feet and stands over Black, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Black felt that one! Hearts unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Black from any more punishment!

After winning the bout, A J Hearts thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
