Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A thudding body kick lands there by Kamel!
That kick from Kamel tenderised Soul's leg. Soul is trying to keep his angry face on.
Kamel lands a nice looking kick to the body. Soul takes a step back to recover.
Soul throws a head kick but Kamel moves out of range.

Soul is looking to control Kamel's arms but Kamel gets an underhook and turns him. Now Soul has his back to the cage.
Kamel tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Soul just stands there and leans against the cage.

Kamel is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Soul is keeping busy.

Kamel jumps guard but Soul stands there with Kamel around his waist. Kamel gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Kamel tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Soul smiles and moves away.
Soul tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kamel paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Mahmoud Kamel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kamel fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Soul has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Soul, as that shot connected.
Soul is looking to clinch but Kamel is avoiding it.

Soul tries to close the distance and clinch but Kamel swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Kamel throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Soul rushes Kamel and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Soul working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Kamel jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Soul walks away with a smile on his face. Kamel gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Soul lands with a shot to the body.
Soul throws a series of punches but Kamel avoids them all with ease.
Soul tries to clinch up but Kamel circles away and keeps his distance.

Dark Soul is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

A kick lands to the mid section there for Kamel.
Kamel lands a nice looking body kick.
Soul is breathing heavily.
Kamel throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

That kick from Kamel tenderised Soul's leg. Soul is trying to keep his angry face on.
Soul is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

It looks like Dark Soul has been cut.
Kamel lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Kamel lands a leg kick that knocks Soul off balance momentarily.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kamel connects with a leg kick. Soul looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Good leg kick by Kamel there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kamel lands a brutal head kick. Soul looks out on his feet and Kamel throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
