Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Cardio Machine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derk Diggler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Machine comes into the arena with Skrillex - Bangarang blaring out of the sound system. Cardio Machine has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Derk Diggler! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Machine shoots in for a takedown but Diggler shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Machine with a poor takedown and Diggler counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Diggler wants to take a breather but Machine is having none of it. Machine is looking to escape. Diggler is working for a kimura but Machine is defending it quite comfortably.
Diggler is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Diggler is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Machine is just riding it out for now. Diggler eventually gives up the hold. Diggler stops Machine from getting back to his feet.

Very athletic spring there. Machine closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Diggler's guard. Diggler has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Machine can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Diggler looks winded! Machine postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Diggler can't keep his opponent in guard - Machine advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Diggler keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Machine is looking for a kimura but Diggler is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Machine to get the leverage. Diggler regains full guard. Nicely done. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Machine connects with a couple of short punches. Machine drops back looking for a leg! Diggler is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Diggler manages to kick Machine off! Machine jumps back into Diggler's guard. Machine lands a couple of decent looking shots. Machine scoring with punches to the head and body. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Machine drops back, looking for a kneebar! Diggler looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Diggler looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Diggler! Machine throws Diggler to one side and escapes! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Machine throws a strike aimed at the side of Diggler's head but Diggler avoids it well. Machine working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Machine throwing strikes but missing, from side control. Machine tries for a kimura but Diggler is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Machine tries to advance to mount but can't. Machine is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Diggler is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Machine wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Diggler, who protects the arm well. Diggler takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

No, Diggler has escaped the position, nice work there. Machine tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Machine has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Machine tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Machine cracks Diggler with an elbow. That is naaassty. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Now he's in guard on top. Diggler looking to sit in guard and control but Machine gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Diggler looking for a guillotine here but Machine defends easily.

Machine throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Machine accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Machine works over Diggler with some ground and pound from guard. Machine landing some decent shots from guard. Diggler not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Machine lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Diggler working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Machine. Machine stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Diggler swivels though and keeps the full guard. Machine thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Machine scoring with some ground and pound. Diggler working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Machine. Diggler wants to stand and escape but Machine is having none of it. Machine drops back for a leg!
