Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Hawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Chalmers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawkins comes to the cage accompanied by Stronger-Kanye West. The crowd seem to be enjoying Chalmers's choice of entrance music: Hash Pipe by Weezer. Kevin Hawkins has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Dean Styles and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hawkins throws a series of punches but Chalmers moves out of range.
Chalmers misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hawkins throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hawkins tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Chalmers was well out of range. Poor timing from Hawkins.
Chalmers scores with a nice right hand.
Hawkins lands a nice shot to the body.

Hawkins connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Chalmers scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Kevin Hawkins has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hawkins's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Chalmers connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hawkins scrambles back to his feet.
Chalmers misses with a few strikes there.
Chalmers looks to land a combination but Hawkins avoids it well.

Chalmers lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Hawkins takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Chalmers takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Hawkins seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Chalmers shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Hawkins is backing up but Chalmers catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Hawkins covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Chalmers Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ron Chalmers!
Our winner, Ron Chalmers, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
