Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Michal Nogueira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrian Hernandez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adrian Hernandez told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Michal Nogueira!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adrian Hernandez!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Hernandez swivels and escapes.
Nogueira looks to clinch
and Hernandez counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Michal Nogueira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hernandez will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nogueira gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Hernandez misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Hernandez swings for the body but Nogueira moves out of range.
Hernandez lands a slapping body shot.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Hernandez digs a good hook to Nogueira's body.
Nogueira is breathing heavily.
Hernandez shoots for a double leg takedown but Nogueira sprawls well. He's pushed Hernandez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Some bone on bone action there as Hernandez checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Hernandez lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nogueira circles away quickly and effectively.
Nogueira tries to clinch but Hernandez moves away
and Hernandez connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hernandez gets a clinch.
Hernandez working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Hernandez breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Hernandez cracks Nogueira with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Nogueira tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Hernandez pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Nogueira is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Adrian Hernandez!
