Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kim Young Il (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxwell Hardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Il comes to the cage accompanied by RATM - Renegades of Funk. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Il fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hardy avoids it really well and circles away.
Hardy checks a low kick from Il.
Il lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
A big left from Hardy misses.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Hardy lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Il has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Il and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Hardy throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

and Hardy counters with a nice low kick that buckles Il's knee momentarily.
Il misses with a kick to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Il connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Hardy lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Il throws a front kick aimed at Hardy's knee but Hardy avoids it well.

Il throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Maxwell Hardy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Il shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Hardy but Hardy pushes him off and we're back to square one.

A big strike lands for Il! That's really hurt Hardy and he's turned his back - Il keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Il jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
