The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
nottingham shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than nottingham was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

nottingham goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Zacksby has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for nottingham but great work by Zacksby.

nottingham drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and nottingham jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as nottingham accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Zacksby is looking to stand up but nottingham isn't so interested in that idea.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
nottingham darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

nottingham is looking for a kimura but Zacksby is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for nottingham to get the leverage.
nottingham wants to take a breather but Zacksby is having none of it.
nottingham wants to work for an arm triangle but Zacksby is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
nottingham is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Zacksby is just riding it out for now. nottingham eventually gives up the hold.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

nottingham closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

roger nottingham showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! nottingham is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if nottingham hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
