Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Timmeh Larson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Mayhem (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Timmeh Larson has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Timmeh Larson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mark Mayhem! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mayhem swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Larson tries to clinch up. Mayhem will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Larson bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Mayhem tries to bum rush Larson with a series of wild strikes but Larson uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Larson fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mayhem tries for a takedown but Larson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Larson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mayhem.
Larson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Mayhem tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Nice takedown defense from Larson. No joy for Mayhem on that attempt. Larson keeps the fight on the outside. Larson throws a push kick but Mayhem slaps the foot to one side. A head kick misses from Larson.
That's one minute gone in the round. Larson clinches up against the cage. Larson taking a breather. Mayhem breaks from the clinch.
Mayhem misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Mayhem misses with a straight left. Larson moves into the clinch. Larson lands a hook to the side of the head. Mayhem takes a knee right on the jaw!
Larson throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Mayhem blocks it with crossed arms. Mayhem is trying to pull guard but Larson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Timmeh Larson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Mayhem. Mayhem tightens his grip and picks Larson up, before dumping him to the ground. Larson manages to land in guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Larson is on top in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Larson content to stall in guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Larson tries to free his leg and advance position but Mayhem is retaining full guard. Larson stays in close to Mayhem's body and controls the position. Mayhem is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Larson is aware though and is defending well. Mayhem looks winded! Larson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Larson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Larson slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Larson slips nicely into half guard. Larson works his foot free and advances to mount. Larson looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mayhem is working to get back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Larson tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Mayhem really wants to buck Larson off and get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Larson looking to control and managing it successfully. Mayhem really wants to buck Larson off and get back to his feet. Larson takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Larson has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Timmeh Larson has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Larson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Mayhem stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The fight moves into the clinch position. Mayhem takes an elbow to the forehead. Larson lands an elbow inside that Mayhem shrugs off. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Timmeh Larson dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Larson throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Mayhem is rocked! Mayhem walks straight into a right hand from Larson - that's dropped him! Larson jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Mayhem from any more punishment! Mayhem complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Timmeh Larson!
