Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wai Ting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dorian Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ting comes to the cage accompanied by Sum 41 - Still WaiTing. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Dorian Gray was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Josh West.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gray tries to close the distance and clinch but Ting swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gray shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ting pinned against the cage. Ting gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Ting tries to score a power double leg takedown but Gray sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Ting somewhat.
Ting shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Gray but Gray pushes him off and we're back to square one.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Ting is trying to control. Gray wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Gray won't allow Ting to pass to mount.
Gray is looking for a sweep. Ting is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Ting takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Ting is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Ting tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Ting's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Gray is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Ting has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Gray! Can he survive? No! He's out! Ting gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

Wai Ting tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
