The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vice throws a chopping leg kick but Mir manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Mir misses with a head kick.
Mir takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Vice gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Mir to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Mir jumps guard but Vice turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Mir tries to pull guard but Vice holds him up against the cage and eventually Mir drops back down to his feet.

Vice connects with a good right hand that stumbles Mir. Mir circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Vice darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Vice lands a big uppercut and Mir crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Mir looks OK. Vice waves Mir back to his feet!

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Vice connects with a solid leg kick.
Vice throws a leg kick which misses Mir's front leg but catches the back leg as Mir tries to avoid it.
Mir doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vice fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Mir has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Vice throws a sloppy head kick and Mir moves out of range easily.
Vice fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Vice has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Mir throws a wild hook but Vice just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Mir gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Vice raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Miami Vice!
