Ushenin is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by The Godfather. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alex Ushenin!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ushenin tries to close the distance and clinch but Samani swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ushenin misses with a wild combination.
Ushenin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ushenin wants to clinch up but Samani keeps it at a distance.
Samani avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Samani connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Samani throws a body punch but Ushenin moves out of range.
Samani lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Alex Ushenin has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Samani lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Samani feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ushenin's calf.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ushenin takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Samani catches Ushenin with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Ushenin throws a sloppy head kick and Samani moves out of range easily.
Samani dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Ushenin. That did some damage!
Ushenin walks forward, straight into a front kick from Samani.
Samani lands a leg kick that knocks Ushenin off balance momentarily.
Samani shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ushenin's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Ushenin keeping moving, preventing Samani from controlling successfully.

Samani scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Ushenin has momentary wrist control but Samani slips an elbow through the middle.
Samani postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Samani cracks Ushenin with a solid left hand.
Ushenin controls Samani momentarily but Samani frees himself.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Samani is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rostam Samani dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Alex Ushenin's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Samani throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ushenin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Samani dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Samani feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Ushenin's calf.

Rostam Samani is winning the standup battle so far.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Good leg kick by Samani there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Samani thuds his shin into the meat of Ushenin's side.
Samani is looking to wear down Ushenin with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Today's fight clock is brought to you by... OOOH that's a huge shot by Samani! Ushenin is in big trouble here - the ref steps in to save him and this one is all over!

Rostam Samani really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that TFP Graphics - Pit Inc logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
