The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clifton lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bromley backs up against the cage.
Bromley closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bromley lands in his opponent's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Clifton looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Bromley has picked Clifton up and slammed him! Clifton can't keep hold of the triangle and Bromley manages to pass to side control!
Clifton is looking for a sweep.
Bromley has hold of Clifton's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Clifton tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Bromley cranks the arm and Clifton screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Clifton, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
