Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kip Aragus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Bourdeau (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bourdeau has chosen Drake-Started from the bottom as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Andrew Bourdeau!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Steve Montenegro and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bourdeau misses with a wild body shot.
Bourdeau ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Aragus moves away.
Aragus tries a head kick but it misses.
Bourdeau fails with the takedown.

and Aragus counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Bourdeau looks for a takedown but Aragus sprawls well.
Kip Aragus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Bourdeau.

Aragus closes the distance and clinches.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Bourdeau really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Aragus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Aragus is looking for a triangle but Bourdeau pushes his legs off easily.

Aragus escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bourdeau gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Andrew Bourdeau hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Aragus's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Aragus wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Bourdeau, who protects the arm well.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Aragus has knee on belly and moves into mount.

Aragus is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Bourdeau to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bourdeau shrugs it off.

Aragus pushes off an throws an elbow but Bourdeau leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Aragus gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Bourdeau regains guard.

Aragus does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Aragus changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bourdeau looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Aragus stands up and beckons Bourdeau to his feet.
