Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cemre Sevinc (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergei Garkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cemre Sevinc! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sergei Garkov! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Sergei Dronov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garkov closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Garkov with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Garkov missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Sevinc looking for submissions off his back. Sevinc wants to control but Garkov is keeping busy.
Sevinc gets full guard. Sevinc working a defensive guard here.
Garkov trying to control the position from guard on top but Sevinc is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Garkov is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Garkov must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Sergei Garkov wasn't active enough on the ground. No luck for Sevinc with that takedown attempt. Sevinc gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sevinc controls Garkov momentarily but Garkov frees himself. Garkov thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Sevinc trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage. Garkov wants to stand but Sevinc has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Garkov loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sevinc being controlled here, momentarily. Garkov cracks Sevinc with a solid left hand. Sevinc looking to hit a scissor sweep but Garkov is one step ahead there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Garkov seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sevinc keeping moving, preventing Garkov from controlling successfully. Garkov controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Sergei Garkov has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Garkov goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Garkov shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Garkov slows the pace down in half guard. Garkov sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Sevinc defending well though. Garkov trying to control the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sevinc is trying to control but can't.
Garkov tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Sevinc. Sevinc is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Garkov missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Sevinc trying to control but Garkov postures up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Garkov feints and as Sevinc raises his hands in defense, Garkov changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Garkov wants to control from the top but Sevinc keeps moving. Sevinc is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Sevinc is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Garkov is doing well to control the position and prevent Sevinc from advancing to side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sevinc trying to mount his opponent but Garkov defends it. Garkov avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Sevinc. Garkov tries to get to full guard but Sevinc has control of the leg. Garkov desperately trying to maintain half guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Sevinc is trying to control. Garkov wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sevinc lands strikes from half guard. Garkov blocking the ground and pound attempt from Sevinc. Garkov trying to control but Sevinc postures up.
Sevinc thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sergei Garkov dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Garkov clinches up with Sevinc and pushes him back against the cage. Sevinc is looking for a takedown. Garkov has Sevinc pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Garkov pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Sevinc tumbling to the mat - Garkov dives into Sevinc's guard. Sevinc wants to sweep here but Garkov controlling him for the moment. Garkov drops back looking for a leg! Sevinc is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sevinc manages to kick Garkov off! Garkov jumps back into Sevinc's guard. Garkov sitting in guard here, content to control. Sevinc will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Sevinc wants to stand and escape but Garkov is having none of it. Sevinc is trying to keep Garkov in close.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garkov trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Garkov slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Sevinc looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Garkov shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Sevinc is looking to improve his position.
Sergei Garkov has got the better of the ground game so far. Sevinc missing with punches from the bottom.
Well, if Garkov is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Let's hope that Garkov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Garkov is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sevinc doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Garkov. Garkov slows the pace down in half guard. Sevinc is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Garkov's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Garkov's back! Garkov turns into Sevinc and is now in his guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Garkov is stalling in the full guard. Garkov has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Sevinc is proving hard to escape from.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sevinc controls Garkov momentarily but Garkov frees himself. Garkov content to stall in guard here. Garkov trying to stand up but can't free himself from Sevinc's guard. Garkov showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
We're going to have a standup here because Cemre Sevinc wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. No luck for Sevinc with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cemre Sevinc. That's going to take a lot out of him. Sevinc shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Garkov but Garkov pushes him off and we're back to square one. Sevinc on the wrong end of a nice jab.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Garkov throws a combination. Sevinc tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Garkov jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Sevinc takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Sevinc shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Garkov as he avoids it easily. Garkov shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! It looks like Garkov is going to stand back up.

Sergei Garkov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Garkov gets to his feet - Sevinc follows without any prompting. Garkov scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Sevinc shoots in for a double leg but Garkov sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Garkov cracks Sevinc with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Sevinc wants to clinch up but Garkov keeps it at a distance. Garkov shoots in and gets a takedown into Sevinc's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Garkov with a flurry of punches that miss. Sevinc is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Garkov won't allow Sevinc to sweep him here. Garkov landing with the ground and pound. Garkov stands and steps away. Sevinc gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Garkov moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Sevinc is rocked!
It looks like Cemre Sevinc has been cut. Cemre Sevinc seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Garkov dives in and gets a big takedown. He lands in full mount and immediately unloads a series of heavy strikes! Sevinc has had enough and taps out.
