Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Ben Dingdown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bod Zio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dingdown comes to the cage accompanied by Baggy Trousers. The crowd seem to be enjoying Zio's choice of entrance music: Old Mcdonald had a farm. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

18 - 8 - 2, fighting out of London, Bod Zio!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, James Glass and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dingdown fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
No joy there for Dingdown, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dingdown attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

and Zio counters with a nice uppercut.
Dingdown takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Dingdown gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Zio shoots for a takedown but Dingdown saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Zio bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Zio looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Dingdown with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zio is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dingdown doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Zio.

That was a close second round but I would say that Ben Dingdown will probably get the nod.
