The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Alyssa Summers and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lemana misses with a takedown
letting Townsley counter with a right hand.
Lemana tries to clinch but Townsley moves away
and Townsley counters by clinching up.
Townsley drags the fight down to the ground.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Townsley can do anything to dispel that myth.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Lemana drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Lemana jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lemana pushes down on Townsley's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Townsley won't allow Lemana to pass to mount.
Lemana is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Townsley has managed to free his arm - good work.
Lemana tries to pass to full mount but Townsley defends it.
Lemana maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Townsley could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Lemana has cracked it and Townsley is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Lemana!
