Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alfa Omega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wayne Henzel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wayne Henzel!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henzel displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Omega.
Omega shoots in for a double leg but Henzel sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Omega throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Henzel's waist but Henzel gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Omega off to one side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alfa Omega. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Omega misses with a takedown attempt
and Henzel counters with a low kick, right behind Omega 's knee.
Omega has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Henzel.
Omega is breathing heavily.

Henzel looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Omega!
Henzel controls the position.
Henzel working the head and body with strikes.
Henzel has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Omega is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Henzel is controlling him well.
Henzel in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Henzel cracks Omega with a big right hand but Omega just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Omega could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Henzel works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Omega pushes Henzel away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Henzel gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Omega managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Henzel.
Omega is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Henzel is controlling him well.
Henzel wants to control but Omega is keeping him busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Omega is pushing Henzel's head away, looking to escape. Henzel manages to hold on to the position though.
Henzel looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Omega is avoiding damage well.

Henzel is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Omega knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Omega on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Omega tries to get out of the position.
Omega is trying to buck Henzel off.
Henzel tries to move into full mount but can't pass Omega's legs.
Omega knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Henzel on the ground.

Henzel creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Henzel trying to control the position but Omega is working away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Henzel is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Omega has escaped the position, nice work there.
Henzel trying to control the action but Omega is working from the bottom.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Omega is trying to get back to his feet.
Omega takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Henzel is working Omega over with some ground and pound from side control.

Henzel has an Americana. Omega didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Henzel is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Henzel hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
