Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Adam Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Romano Schoots (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Romano Schoots was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

15 - 8 - 1, fighting out of New York, Adam Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
23 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Romano Schoots!
The judges for this bout are , Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schoots misses with a looping left.
Schoots darts in and clinches Gracie up against the cage.
Schoots working aggressively here.
Schoots working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Schoots misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Schoots displaying some good clinch control by pressing Gracie up against the cage.
Schoots misses with a hook from the clinch.
Gracie is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Gracie pulls guard successfully.
Gracie looking for subs off his back but Schoots has passed one foot through into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Gracie wants to control but Schoots is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Gracie slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Schoots missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Gracie escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Schoots gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Gracie is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Schoots is aware though and is defending well.
Schoots trying to control but Gracie is working from the bottom.

Schoots pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Gracie is keeping the position for now.
Schoots seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Gracie working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Schoots doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Schoots manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Gracie has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Schoots can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Gracie had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Schoots defends it easily.

Schoots stands up out of Gracie's guard for a moment - Gracie manages to land a nice upkick.

Gracie has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Schoots should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Gracie has tightened it up now! Schoots should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

After winning the bout, Adam Gracie thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
