Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tod Brookes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anselm Anthony Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexander comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Ride of the Valkyries kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Dean Styles and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brookes moves into the clinch.
Alexander successfully pulls guard.
Brookes has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Alexander trying to keep a closed guard but Brookes is proving a slippery customer.
Alexander pulls Brookes in close to his closed guard and prevents Brookes from doing any damage or advancing position.
Alexander is looking to sinch up a triangle. Brookes throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Alexander's body to avoid the submission. Alexander has instead reached around Brookes's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Alexander arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

In his post fight interview, Anselm Anthony Alexander started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
