Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Boban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lelouch Laperouge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Boban comes to the cage accompanied by Ana Tijoux - 1977. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Bruno Hogan and Eliza Hachem.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boban digs a good hook to Laperouge's body.
Laperouge looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Boban scores with a shot to the body.
A lazy left from Boban finds it's target.
Boban feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Laperouge's calf.
Boban throws a one two combo.
Boban throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Laperouge was covering up waiting for the punch and Boban finishes the takedown easily into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Boban wants to control from the top but Laperouge keeps moving.

Boban decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Boban ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Boban no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Laperouge wanted to stand there but Boban had control of the position.

Boban has his foot on Laperouge's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Laperouge works his way back into a safe position though.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Boban is pulling down on Laperouge's head. It's preventing any offense from Laperouge, at least for the moment.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Boban throws a nice inside leg kick.
Boban closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Laperouge tries to buck Boban off but Boban is having none of it.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Laperouge takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Boban stands up and beckons Laperouge to his feet.
Boban throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Boban fakes the leg kick and cracks Laperouge in the body.
Boban tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Laperouge was well out of range. Poor timing from Boban.
Boban's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Boban duly obliges.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Boban drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Boban scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Laperouge to see if he's OK.

Laperouge takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

The referee asks Boban politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Boban prefers to stall for the moment though.

Boban tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
A lull in the action here as Boban stalls from top position.
Boban has knee on belly and moves into mount.
Boban fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Laperouge is rocked!

Boban lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Laperouge hang on?
Laperouge is still in real trouble! Can Boban finish him?
Boban controlling the pace for now.
Boban seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Laperouge for as long as he can get away with.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A big strike lands for Boban! That's really hurt Laperouge and he's turned his back - Boban keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Boban jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
