Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nikolai Dehaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ansgar Kurucz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dehaz comes to the cage accompanied by Deftones - My Own Summer (Shove It). Kurucz has chosen Marek Ztraceny - Sex s Ex as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ansgar Kurucz! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Trevor Gratis and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kurucz on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. Kurucz is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kurucz has managed to clinch.

Kurucz fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kurucz sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Dehaz keeps the fight on the outside.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kurucz tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Kurucz darts in trying to clinch and Dehaz counters with a nice body kick. Kurucz fails in his attempt to clinch. Dehaz lands a nice leg kick that just misses Kurucz's sensitive parts. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Dehaz circles away from the clinch attempt and Dehaz counters with a one-two to the body. Dehaz shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dehaz showed some decent athleticism there. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Dehaz seems to be working for a kimura but Kurucz defends the submission attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dehaz is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kurucz sees it coming and defends easily. Dehaz is working for a kimura but Kurucz is defending it quite comfortably.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dehaz winds up and cracks Kurucz with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Kurucz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dehaz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kurucz is refusing to be controlled, as Dehaz sits in half guard. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Dehaz works his foot free and advances to mount. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dehaz looking to finish with strikes here!

That was a close round but I would say that Nikolai Dehaz will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Dehaz lands a leg kick that knocks Kurucz off balance momentarily. Dehaz fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Kurucz has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Kurucz takes one on the button. Kurucz blocks a head kick by Dehaz.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dehaz buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Dehaz lands a jab. Kurucz tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Dehaz counters with a nice kick to the body. Dehaz tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Dehaz keeps the fight on the outside. Dehaz feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kurucz's calf. Kurucz fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Dehaz misses with a wild body shot. Kurucz stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kurucz wants it to stay on the feet. Dehaz keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Kurucz wants to clinch up but Dehaz keeps it at a distance. Kurucz is trying desperately to land a takedown but Dehaz is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Kurucz.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dehaz keeps the fight on the outside. Dehaz lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Dehaz lands a front kick. A thudding body kick lands there by Dehaz!
Dehaz throws a nice inside leg kick. Dehaz throws a nice outside leg kick. Dehaz throws a front kick that sends Kurucz stumbling back into the cage. Kurucz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dehaz paws at him with a jab and circles away. No luck for Kurucz with that takedown attempt. Nice uppercut there from Dehaz. Dehaz fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Kurucz. Kurucz has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Dehaz. Dehaz scores with a kick to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dehaz feints and then cracks Kurucz's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kurucz down. A decent looking body kick lands there for Dehaz. A chopping leg kick lands by Dehaz. Dehaz clinches with his opponent.

Dehaz is trying to drag Kurucz to the mat but Kurucz just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Kurucz throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Dehaz blocks it with crossed arms. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dehaz has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Kurucz after a bit of a struggle. Kurucz tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Nikolai Dehaz dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

This has been an exciting period of action! Kurucz gets tackled into the cage by Dehaz. Dehaz maintains the clinch. Dehaz can't get the takedown.
Kurucz is defending well against a takedown attempt. Kurucz's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Dehaz wants to get back to striking at distance but Kurucz won't allow it.

Ansgar Kurucz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Kurucz gets a clinch. Dehaz has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Nikolai Dehaz. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dehaz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
