Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between James McQueen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rex Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McQueen comes to the cage accompanied by Edguy - Ministry of Saints. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McQueen fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
McQueen shoots in looking for a takedown but Richards manages to keep the fight standing, pushing McQueen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
McQueen takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Richards lands a head kick!
Richards misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from McQueen.
Richards comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Rex Richards seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McQueen is breathing heavily.
Richards cracks McQueen with a right hand to the side of the head.
Richards lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
McQueen tries to close the distance and clinch but Richards swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Richards lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Richards.
It looks like James McQueen has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Richards rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and McQueen counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Richards thinking.
Richards slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
McQueen ducks under a wild hook from Richards.
Richards throws the left hand but McQueen avoids the punch easily.
McQueen takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
McQueen takes a kick to the side of the head.

McQueen is rocked!
McQueen gets caught napping as Richards dives in and scores a takedown. McQueen manages to retain guard.
Oh McQueen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Richards passes McQueen's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Richards is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Richards connects with a nice short shot to McQueen's temple.
Richards is looking for a kimura but McQueen is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Richards to get the leverage.
Richards is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so McQueen is just riding it out for now. Richards eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Richards is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. McQueen doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Richards.

McQueen slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
McQueen tries to strike from the bottom.
McQueen wants to stand and escape but Richards is having none of it.

Richards postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
McQueen pulls Richards in close to prevent any damage.
Richards has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
McQueen will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Richards postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! McQueen covers up, he's hurt! Richards keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Richards and the ref steps in to end the fight! Richards can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
