Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Adrian Fok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fabricio Valesquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fok comes into the arena with Para Salud blaring out of the sound system. Valesquez is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by "Ratamahatta" by Sepultura. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Adrian Fok! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 18 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fabricio Valesquez! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Russell Pearce and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fok shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Fok fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Valesquez avoids it really well and circles away. No luck for Fok with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adrian Fok. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fok is trying hard to land a takedown here. Valesquez sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Horrible takedown by Fok or perhaps it was just good defense by Valesquez which made him look bad. A slow jab from Valesquez misses its intended target. Valesquez throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Valesquez leaves Fok with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Valesquez tries to keep at a distance but Fok has taken the fight into the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valesquez has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Fok is trying to keep an underhook but Valesquez manages to get the takedown into half guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Valesquez not landing any meaningful shots this time. Valesquez wants to advance to full mount but Fok doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Fok is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fok pulls Valesquez in close to prevent any damage. Valesquez slips nicely into half guard. Valesquez is thwarting Fok's attempts to control the position. Valesquez is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Fok defends it well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fok wants to control but Valesquez is keeping busy and won't allow it. Fok is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Valesquez is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Fok is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Valesquez is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Valesquez looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Valesquez seems to be looking for submissions.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Fok drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Valesquez sneaks back into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Valesquez is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Fok pulls his head out easily. Valesquez is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Fok working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Fok landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Fok scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Valesquez taking some punishment here, with Fok in his half guard. Nice strikes from Fok there. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Fok lands a nice short elbow. Fok working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Valesquez gets back to full guard.
Valesquez has momentary wrist control but Fok slips an elbow through the middle. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Fok throwing strikes but missing. Fok in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Adrian Fok dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Fok fails with the takedown and Valesquez decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fok's guard. Fok manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Valesquez manages to get himself to full guard.
Fok has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Valesquez is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Valesquez moves into full mount! Fok won't be happy about that! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Fok is working to get back to half guard.
Valesquez moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Fok has worked his arm free - good work by Fok!
Fok is looking for a sweep. Valesquez is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Fok has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valesquez working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Valesquez tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Fok wants to control but Valesquez postures up. Valesquez advances nicely into full mount. Fok regains half guard. Valesquez is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Fok sees it coming and defends easily.

Valesquez is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fok is just riding it out for now. Valesquez eventually gives up the hold. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Valesquez is trying to control the action in half guard but Fok is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Valesquez is working for a submission of some sort.

Fok shoots in and drives through. Valesquez sprawls well. Fok rushes Valesquez and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Fok has Valesquez pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Fok pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Valesquez tumbling to the mat - Fok dives into Valesquez's guard. Valesquez tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Fok's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Valesquez manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Valesquez sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it! Fok keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Valesquez swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Fok is now in Valesquez's guard. A big mistake from Valesquez there, giving up the dominant position! Valesquez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fok gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Fok working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Fok lands a couple of elbows. Valesquez trying to keep a closed guard but Fok is proving a slippery customer.

Fok tries to land a sweep but no joy. Valesquez postures up.
