Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jean Louis Andre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Muad Dib!
The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dib gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Andre counters with an inside leg kick.
Dib with a lazy takedown attempt
and Andre counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Andre thows a body kick. Dib tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Dib throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Andre counters with a slapping leg kick.
Dib tries for a takedown but Andre circles away easily
and Andre counters with a stiff right hand.
Jean Louis Andre has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Muad Dib.
Dib takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Dib shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Andre gets full guard.
Dib keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Andre's head.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Andre keeping moving, preventing Dib from controlling successfully.
Dib is posturing up here but Andre has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Dib tries to roll out but it's too tight and Dib has to tap! Slick submission there by Andre!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jean Louis Andre!
