Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Philip Negan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinton Rampage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rampage is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Eminem - Lose Yourself. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rampage keeps the fight on the outside.
Rampage stuffs the takedown attempt from Negan. Negan gets slowly back to his feet.
Rampage avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Negan dodges the punch combination from Rampage.
Negan shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Rampage as he jumps to the side.
Negan tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rampage sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Negan somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Philip Negan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Rampage throws a right hand that Negan ducks under and follows up with a left that Negan also avoids with ease.
A combination from Rampage does no damage.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Negan, right into the meat.
Rampage throws a nice looking combination but Negan bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

It looks like Philip Negan has been cut.

Negan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Rampage throws a series of punches but Negan moves out of range.

Negan shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Negan is trying to control the action in half guard but Rampage is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Negan works his way into full mount!

Negan has hold of Rampage's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Rampage manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Rampage is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Rampage is bucking up trying to escape but Negan cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Negan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Rampage really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Negan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Rampage's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Negan is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Rampage can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Rampage looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Negan! Submission of the night perhaps?
