Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Lang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Riddick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Lang might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Im Gonna Kill You . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Lang !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Riddick!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Gwen Towbar and Robert Twigg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riddick tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lang sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Riddick somewhat.
Lang blocks a head kick by Riddick.
Riddick fails with the takedown.
Riddick is looking to clinch but Lang is avoiding it.
Riddick lands a two punch combo.
Riddick throws a leg kick that misses.

Riddick closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Lang to the mat! Lang manages to get full guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Riddick got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lang has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Riddick has managed to get both his arms back between Lang 's legs - danger averted.

Riddick wants to control from the top but Lang keeps moving.

Lang escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Riddick gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Lang has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Riddick can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lang working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Riddick doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Riddick manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Riddick stands up and waves to Lang to follow him.
Riddick misses with a takedown attempt - Lang sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

That was a close second round but I would say that James Lang will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Riddick shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lang as he avoids it easily.

Riddick doesn't manage to clinch there - Lang circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

John Riddick comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Lang has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
