Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Caleb Foster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Hara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Foster comes to the cage accompanied by Lynyrd Skynrd - Sweet Home Alabama. Hara has chosen The Who - Eminence front as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Caleb Foster!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Josh Hara!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foster is looking to clinch but Hara is avoiding it.
Caleb Foster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Foster throws an overhand right that lands on Hara's shoulder, as Hara tries to avoid the shot.
Foster is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Foster is looking to clinch but Hara is avoiding it.
Foster doesn't manage to clinch there - Hara circles away.

Foster moves into the clinch.
Foster tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Hara's elbow.

Foster has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Hara regains guard immediately.

Foster stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hara swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hara has his foot on Foster's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Foster works his way back into a safe position though.

Hara utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Hara is trying to keep Foster in close.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hara lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Foster!
Foster is trying to stand.
Foster is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Hara has taken his back!
I would not like to be Foster right now.
Foster covers up after that shot from Hara.

Hara throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
Foster wants to get back to his feet.
Hara wants to control but Foster is keeping busy.
Foster is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.

Foster is having to fend off submission attempts from Hara, who is looking to sink in the choke. Hara doesn't have the hooks in though and Foster manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.
Foster has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Hara has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Foster can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Foster with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Hara is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Foster is controlling him.
Foster stands up over Hara, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Foster postures up in Hara's guard and throws a big left but Hara blocks it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Caleb Foster dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Foster pushes Hara up against the cage in a clinch.
Hara tries to stall but Foster uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Foster's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Foster looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hara is fending him off so far but Foster persists. Nope, Hara circles away and we're back to standing.
Foster tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Hara manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hara.
Hara dives in and grabs Foster's left leg, looking for a takedown. Foster pushes down on Hara's head and hops out.
Foster stuffs the takedown.
Caleb Foster has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josh Hara.
Foster tries to clinch but Hara is having none of it.
Hara throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Foster lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Hara avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Hara shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Foster as he jumps to the side.
Foster cracks Hara with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Josh Hara is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Hara shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Foster sprawls well. Foster wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hara gets slowly back to his feet.
Hara lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Hara is breathing heavily.
Foster tries to close the distance and clinch but Hara swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Hara shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Foster's guard.
Foster wants to stand and escape but Hara is having none of it.
Caleb Foster overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hara content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Hara stops Foster from standing up.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Foster wants to get back to his feet but Hara passes into half guard.
Foster is not content to let Hara control the position.
Foster wants to get back to his feet.

Hara wants to work for an arm triangle but Foster is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Hara stops Foster from getting back to his feet.

Hara is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Foster sees it coming and defends easily.
Foster is looking to get back to is feet but Hara passes into side control.
Foster tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
Foster is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

The referee warns Foster that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Foster has given up his back here. Will Hara look for the submission or keep pounding away?
Foster grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hara scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Foster is looking for a way out.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Foster holding both Hara 's hands and preventing any damage.

Hara is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Foster is defending well though. Hara let's go of the attempt for now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Josh Hara will probably get the nod - 10:9.

The fight stays on the outside here - Foster looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
