Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between George Rohan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lee Denardo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, George Rohan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lee Denardo!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Daniel Blasius and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rohan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Sloppy strikes from Denardo. Those never looked like landing.
Denardo slips a jab from Rohan.
Denardo walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Rohan checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Rohan on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Denardo listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Rohan has closed the distance and engaged Denardo in a clinch.
Rohan tightens his grip and picks Denardo up, before dumping him to the ground. Denardo manages to land in guard.
Rohan seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of George Rohan.
Rohan closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Denardo did well to prevent Rohan getting side control.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Denardo is looking to improve his position.

Denardo has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Rohan is working away from the top position though.
Denardo is looking for a sweep. Rohan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Denardo thows a leg kick but Rohan checks it
and Rohan moves into the clinch.
Rohan lands an elbow just above Denardo 's eye.
Denardo takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like Lee Denardo has been cut.
Rohan misses with a knee to the head.
Rohan prevents Denardo from breaking the clinch.
Rohan lands a knee to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Rohan's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Denardo is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Rohan scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Rohan will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Denardo up against the cage.
Denardo can't break the clinch.
Rohan lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.

Denardo wants to control but Rohan is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Rohan is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Rohan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Denardo keeps working.
Rohan content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Rohan is working for a submission of some sort.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Lee Denardo's cut.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Denardo misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rohan lands with a shot to the body.
George Rohan is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Denardo, as that shot connected.

and Denardo counters with a nice uppercut.
Denardo takes a swing at Rohan's ribcage but misses.
Denardo keeps the fight on the outside.
Rohan walks into a straight right hand from Denardo.
Rohan chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Rohan keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Denardo lands a body shot.
Rohan gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Rohan putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Denardo in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body.
Denardo is breathing heavily.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rohan landing knees to the body.
Rohan is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.

Rohan has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Denardo clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Rohan lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Rohan.
Denardo is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Rohan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Denardo is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Rohan somehow managing to miss with a strike from the back.
Rohan is cranking Denardo's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Denardo! He's tightened the choke and Denardo is tapping out!
