Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Andrei Jones!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Duke Danger!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Danger moves into the clinch.
Danger is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Jones is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Danger escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jones closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
The fighters are battling for position here. Danger manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Danger is trying to keep Jones in close.
Jones has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Jones throws an elbow that misses. Danger uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Jones's guard. Nice move by Danger!
Jones on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jones tries to get out of the position.
Danger wants to control from the top but Jones keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Danger stands and steps away. Jones gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Danger fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jones sprawls well initially but Danger persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Jones is breathing heavily.
Jones pushes Danger off looking to stand but Danger dives back in and keeps control.
Danger prevents Jones from improving his position.
Danger wants to control but Jones is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Danger works his way into side control.
Danger goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Jones has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Danger but great work by Jones.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Danger is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Jones's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Danger makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Danger.
Jones trying to control but Danger is working from the bottom.
Danger is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Jones looks like he's trying to stand up.

Danger not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Danger passes to full mount!
Danger quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Danger but it's paid off an Jones is forced to tap! Nice work by Danger.
