Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ironman Starck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Owen Salcedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Owen Salcedo told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ironman Starck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Owen Salcedo!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Colin Fray and Jeff Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Starck moves into the clinch.
Salcedo throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Starck blocks it with crossed arms.
Salcedo looking to slow down the pace here.
Salcedo ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Salcedo no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Starck scoring with punches to the head and body.
Salcedo looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Starck passes into half guard.
Starck moves into full mount! Salcedo won't be happy about that!
Starck lands a nice shot to the head.
Starck controlling from the full mount.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Starck has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Salcedo really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Starck tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Starck manages to capitalize on a mistake by Salcedo to take his back!
Salcedo is taking damage to the body and head.
Starck keeps control of the position easily here as Salcedo tries to buck him off.
Starck is landing with strikes from the back.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
What can Salcedo do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Starck has his arm under Salcedo's chin here. Game over son! Starck squeezes tightly and Salcedo is forced to tap out!
