Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Blow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Donkey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Blow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, King Donkey! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blow has managed to clinch.
Blow pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Blow buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Blow shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Donkey as he jumps to the side. Donkey feints and as Blow raises his hands in defense, Donkey changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Blow wants to stand and escape but Donkey is having none of it. Blow keeping moving, preventing Donkey from controlling successfully. Donkey won't allow Blow to get back to his feet. Donkey controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Donkey wants to get up but he can't break Blow's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
OK we're going to have a standup here. King Donkey hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Donkey fails with a takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blow drives through and clinches with Donkey against the cage.

Donkey changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Blow fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Donkey gets caught napping as Blow dives in and scores a takedown. Donkey manages to retain guard. Donkey trying to control the position.
Blow trying to control but Donkey is working from the bottom. Blow works a leg free and moves into half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Donkey can do anything to dispel that myth. Blow wants to lay and pray for a moment but Donkey keeps working.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Donkey keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Blow missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Blow seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Donkey is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
