Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ozzie Castillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ramstein Rommel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ozzie Castillo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 15 - 0, fighting out of London, Ozzie Castillo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ramstein Rommel!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Paul Tew and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rommel misses with a hook to the body
and Castillo counters with a three punch combo that has Rommel backing up. Rommel nods at Castillo to acknowledge the strikes.
Rommel misses with a low kick.
Rommel is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Castillo.
Castillo keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Rommel.
Rommel walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Castillo checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Ramstein Rommel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rommel misses with a wild body shot.
Rommel changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Castillo tries to avoid it but Rommel manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Castillo to the ground. Castillo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Rommel darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Castillo wants to get back to his feet.

and Castillo counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

The fight stays on the outside here - Rommel looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Rommel throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Castillo sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Rommel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Castillo moves away.

Rommel tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Castillo paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Rommel shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Castillo is defending against the submission attempts here by Rommel.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Castillo is looking to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ramstein Rommel dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Castillo keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Rommel shoots for a takedown but Castillo saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Rommel tries to clinch but Castillo is having none of it.

Castillo stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Rommel misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Castillo.

Rommel is looking to clinch but Castillo is avoiding it.
Ramstein Rommel seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Rommel throws a sloppy head kick and Castillo moves out of range easily.
Castillo throws a right and a left that Rommel avoids nicely.

Rommel misses with a takedown attempt - Castillo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Rommel ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Castillo moves away.

Castillo gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Castillo is looking to stand up but Rommel isn't so interested in that idea.

Rommel throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Castillo works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Castillo can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Rommel controls the pace.

Rommel postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Castillo avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Castillo wants to stand but Rommel is controlling the position.

Ramstein Rommel showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Rommel looks to land a combination but Castillo avoids it well.

Rommel misses with a looping left.
Rommel thuds a left hand into Castillo's body.
Rommel tries to close the distance and clinch but Castillo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Castillo takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Rommel shoots in looking for a takedown. Castillo tries to sprawl out of it but Rommel keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Castillo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Ramstein Rommel is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Castillo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rommel circles away quickly and effectively.

The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Castillo checks a leg kick.
Castillo avoids the head kick by Rommel.
Rommel lands a jab to the head.
Rommel is looking to clinch but Castillo is avoiding it.
Rommel misses with the combination.

Rommel misses with a low kick.
Castillo fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Rommel bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Rommel wants to lay and pray for a moment but Castillo keeps working.

And that's the end of the fight!
Ramstein Rommel comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Rommel has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
