Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kengo Watanabe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jiga Ji (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jiga Ji will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jiga Ji!
The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Eddie Farnsworth and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watanabe takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Ji jabs Watanabe to the body, keeping him at a distance.
A jab from Watanabe misses.
Ji stalks Watanabe and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Watanabe's face. Watanabe staggers backwards, shaken.
Ji wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ji jabs Watanabe to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Ji defending well as Watanabe loads up on a big left hand.
Watanabe throws a hook but Ji avoids it easily.
Ji dodges the punch combination from Watanabe.
Watanabe misses with a combination
and Ji counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Watanabe misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Watanabe has a takedown stuffed.
Ji looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Watanabe!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Ji goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Watanabe has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Ji but great work by Watanabe.

Ji tries to buck Watanabe off but Watanabe is having none of it.

Watanabe lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Ji down.
Ji wants to control but Watanabe postures up.
Watanabe working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Watanabe postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Ji tries to buck Watanabe off but Watanabe is having none of it.

Watanabe tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ji takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Watanabe throws an elbow but Ji slips to the side and avoids it well.
Watanabe tries to move into full mount but can't pass Ji's legs.
Ji takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Ji sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Ji wants to get back to his feet.
Watanabe is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Ji moves into full guard.
Watanabe knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ji on the ground.
Watanabe trying to control the position from guard on top but Ji is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Ji not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Watanabe in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Watanabe accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Watanabe chips away with some ground and pound.
Ji is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Watanabe frees his head nicely. Oh but Ji has switched to an armbar! Watanabe is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

Jiga Ji tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
