Cruz closes the distance and pushes Levi back into the cage.

Levi turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Cruz has eaten all the pies!

Levi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

It looks like Jos Cruz has been cut.
Cruz gets back to half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cruz has hold of Levi's hands but Levi slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Levi knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cruz on the ground.
Levi is nestled in close to Cruz, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Levi landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Cruz is rocked!

That has opened up Jos Cruz's cut even more.
Cruz moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Cruz is still in real trouble! Can Levi finish him?
Levi arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Cruz's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
