Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between King Minos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roman Reigns (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, King Minos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Roman Reigns!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and William Gold.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Minos shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Reigns shoots in looking for a takedown but Minos manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Reigns's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Reigns looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Minos is fending him off so far but Reigns persists. Nope, Minos circles away and we're back to standing.
Reigns dives in and grabs Minos's left leg, looking for a takedown. Minos pushes down on Reigns's head and hops out.
King Minos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roman Reigns.
Minos misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Minos really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Reigns swats away the attempt to clinch by Minos.
Minos keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Reigns.
Minos shoots in for a takedown but Reigns shows good takedown defense.
Minos tries to clinch up but Reigns circles away and keeps his distance.
Reigns throws a series of punches but Minos moves out of range.
Reigns avoids a kick to the body.
Minos blocks the body kick.
A head kick from Minos lands but Reigns takes it in his stride.
Minos shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Reigns sprawls well. Reigns wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Minos gets slowly back to his feet.

Reigns throws a sloppy head kick
and Minos counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Reigns is lucky that one didn't land flush.
Minos feints and then cracks Reigns's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Reigns down.

Reigns dives in and scores a takedown into Minos's guard.

Minos has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Reigns off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Minos shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Reigns as he jumps to the side.
Minos circles away from the clinch attempt.
Minos avoids the head kick by Reigns.
Minos fails with the takedown.

Reigns closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Minos is breathing heavily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Reigns is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Minos kicks off Reigns and gets to his feet.
Minos has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.

Minos has closed the distance and engaged Reigns in a clinch.

Minos breaks from the clinch.
Reigns has a takedown stuffed.
Minos shoots in looking for a takedown. Reigns tries to sprawl out of it but Minos keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Reigns manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Reigns takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Reigns shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Minos counters with a nice body kick.
Minos plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Minos tries to clinch but Reigns is having none of it.
Reigns defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Minos.
Reigns misses with a wild combination.
Minos shoots in for a takedown but Reigns shows good takedown defense.

Minos shoots in looking for a takedown. Reigns tries to sprawl out of it but Minos keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Reigns manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

and Reigns counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Reigns prevents Minos from getting back to his feet.
Reigns throws a big elbow that misses.
Reigns tries to free his leg and advance position but Minos is retaining full guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Reigns trying to control the position from guard on top but Minos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that King Minos will probably get the nod.

Minos wants to clinch up but Reigns keeps it at a distance.

Minos breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Minos misses with an attempted mid kick.
Minos tries to close the distance and clinch up but Reigns swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Reigns rushes Minos and presses him up against the cage.

Minos lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Reigns doesn't manage to clinch there - Minos circles away.
Reigns shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Minos defends it nicely.

Minos looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Reigns is fending him off so far but Minos persists. Nope, Reigns circles away and we're back to standing.

The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Reigns dives in and scores a takedown into Minos's guard.

Reigns trying to control the position from guard on top but Minos is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Roman Reigns wasn't active enough on the ground.

Minos forces Reigns back against the cage and clinches.

Minos connects with a high kick.
King Minos is winning the standup battle so far.
Reigns fails to land the takedown.
Minos throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Reigns's head.
No luck for Minos with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for King Minos. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Minos shoots for a double leg takedown but Reigns sprawls well. He's pushed Minos's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Minos tries to score a power double leg takedown but Reigns sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Minos somewhat.

Reigns has managed to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Roman Reigns will probably get the nod - 10:9.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Minos.

Minos tries to stall but Reigns uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Minos on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Minos manages to break the clinch.

Reigns tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Minos will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Reigns up against the cage.
Minos gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.

Minos escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Reigns tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
The fight stays on the outside here - Minos looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Minos closes this distance looking for a takedown but Reigns circles away.
Minos defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Reigns.
Minos fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Reigns manages to avoid it.

Minos moves into the clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Minos controlling the action here for a moment.

King Minos showed his dominance in that final round.
