Robinson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up. Rick Robinson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kane loads up on a big right hand but Robinson slips the punch.
Rick Robinson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kane throws a jab but it's blocked by Robinson.
Robinson blocks a jab.
Robinson wants to clinch.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Robinson shoots in and drives through. Kane sprawls well.
Kane throws out a loose jab but Robinson uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kane lands with a right hand.

It looks like Jigoro Kane has been cut.
Robinson looks for a takedown but Kane sprawls well.

Kane throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Robinson on the side of the head.

Kane throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Robinson sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Kane connects with a good right hand that stumbles Robinson. Robinson circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Robinson doesn't manage to clinch there - Kane circles away.

Robinson drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

Kane thows a left - swing and a miss!
Kane throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Robinson.
Robinson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kane misses with a double jab.
Robinson ducks under a wild hook from Kane.
Kane takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Robinson throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Kane's head.
Kane is rocked!
Nice uppercut lands for Kane. That snapped Robinson's head back.
Oh Robinson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Kane is still on wobbly legs! Can Robinson finish him?
Robinson shoots in but Kane avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Robinson seems to have got his legs back now.
Kane seems to have recovered his senses.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rick Robinson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Robinson clinches with his opponent.
Come on Robinson - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Robinson trying to stall but Kane improves his position.
Kane lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Kane breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Kane fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Robinson to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Robinson looks to clinch but Kane throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Robinson taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
