Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Anita Job (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Carlos Garcia! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Garcia throws a head kick but Job moves out of range.

Job sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Garcia walks into a left hand.
It looks like Carlos Garcia has been cut. Garcia scores with a push kick. Garcia pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Job pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Garcia back to the cage. Job follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Job rushes Garcia and presses him up against the cage. Job breaks the clinch.

Job is breathing heavily. Job shoots in and drives through. Garcia sprawls well. Job moves forwards but Garcia connects with a nice, crisp jab. Garcia shoots in for a takedown but Job shows good takedown defense. Garcia misses with a body shot.

Job tries to bum rush Garcia with a series of wild strikes but Garcia uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Garcia tries to score a power double leg takedown but Job sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Garcia somewhat. Garcia tries to close the distance and clinch up but Job swats him away and circles back towards the center. Job on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Garcia. Garcia obviously looking to wear him down.
Anita Job seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Job misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Garcia fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Job has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Job lands a nice shot that snaps Garcia's head back.

That's one minute gone in the round. Garcia is trying to maintain a safe position but Job gets an underhook and turns Garcia into the cage. Garcia pulls guard. Job controls from within his opponent's guard. Job is looking to advance position but Garcia has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Garcia is working for a guillotine from mount but Job frees his head quite easily.

Job on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Job tries to get out of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Garcia pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Job tries to hold on but Garcia pushes him away. Job is trying to escape the mount.
Job knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Garcia on the ground. Garcia dominating with strikes here. Garcia avoids the attempt from Job to control. Garcia breaks from Job's wrist control and lands an elbow. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Job really wants to buck Garcia off and get back to his feet. Job tries to hold on but Garcia pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Garcia has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Job's face.
Job is in a horrible position here. Garcia smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Job is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Garcia with a couple of short strikes. Job is in all sorts of trouble here.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Job wants to control but Garcia is having none of it. Garcia scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Job?
Job is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Garcia lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Job hang on? Job takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Oh Job is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Job is looking to get to half guard. Job seems to have got his legs back now. Garcia is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Job can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Garcia jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Job manages to avoid the submission attempt. Carlos Garcia has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Job is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Garcia has just dragged him back down to the mat. Anita Job is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Garcia has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Garcia landing a few strikes. Garcia working the ground and pound from side control.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Anita Job! Anita Job decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
