Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Okimitsu Fujii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenji Nakano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Okimitsu Fujii!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenji Nakano!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fujii on the wrong end of a nice jab.

Fujii manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Nakano on his heels. He'll look to pass Nakano's guard now, I'm sure.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Fujii fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Nakano sprawls well initially but Fujii persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Fujii has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Well Fujii has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
