The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - dos Passos throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

and Equinox counters with a one-two to the body.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
dos Passos wants to free his trapped foot but Equinox is holding on for dear life with his legs.
dos Passos is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
dos Passos is working for a kimura here but Equinox manages to reverse the position and he's now in dos Passos's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Equinox's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

John Equinox is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
