Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Edson Gomes and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jemall looks to land a left hand but Sobral moved out of range nicely.
Good standup being displayed there by Jemall as he connects with a hook.
Abdual Jemall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice sprawl there from Jemall as Sobral shoots in.
Jemall tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Sobral.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Jemall tries to improve position but can't.
Jemall manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jemall tries to roll over but Sobral keeps him under control.
Sobral not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Sobral is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Jemall doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Sobral.
Sobral slips a nice elbow through Jemall's hands, connecting with Jemall's forehead.

Jemall is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sobral connects with a nice short shot to Jemall's temple.
Well, if Sobral is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Sobral is stalling here. Jemall is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Sobral seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Jemall has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Sobral is trying to control Jemall's posture but Jemall avoids it.
Jemall thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Sobral is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Jemall misses with a few strikes there.
Jemall throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sobral.
Sobral misses with a straight left.
Sobral tries for a takedown but Jemall sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jemall wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Jemall lands a slapping body shot.
Sobral fails to land with a series of punches.
Sobral misses with a few strikes there.
Sobral looks to throw the jab but Jemall is out of range.
Jemall ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Sobral has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Jemall.
Sobral fails with a takedown attempt.
Sobral throws a nice looking combination but Jemall bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sobral loads up on a big right hand but Jemall slips the punch.

Sobral lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jemall circles away quickly and effectively.
Jemall lands a jab.
Jemall tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sobral was well out of range. Poor timing from Jemall.
Horrible takedown by Jemall or perhaps it was just good defense by Sobral which made him look bad.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Jemall, right into the meat.
Sobral feints and as Jemall raises his hands in defense, Sobral changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Jemall wants to control the position but Sobral says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.

Jemall has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Sobral should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Jemall has tightened it up now! Sobral should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Abdual Jemall!
Abdual Jemall opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
