The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swanson tries to clinch up.

Giovanni gets underhooks to prevent Swanson's takedown attempt.
Giovanni tries to work over Swanson's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Giovanni tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
The referee calls for Swanson to work.
Giovanni can't find room to land a body shot as Swanson controls the action.
Giovanni lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Swanson backwards.

Giovanni tries to work over Swanson's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
