Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wladimir Iwanienko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harvey Dent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Iwanienko comes to the cage accompanied by Kavkaz Sila. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Harvey Dent! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Alexandre Firmino and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dent looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Iwanienko is fending him off so far but Dent persists. Nope, Iwanienko circles away and we're back to standing. Dent avoids the head kick by Iwanienko.

Dent closes this distance looking for a takedown but Iwanienko circles away. Dent decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Dent controlling the action here. Iwanienko is trying to stand back up but Dent is controlling him

It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Iwanienko defends it well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dent throwing shots but Iwanienko is blocking nicely. Dent wants to take a breather but Iwanienko is having none of it. Dent stops Iwanienko from getting back to his feet.

Iwanienko is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Dent gets his way!
Iwanienko knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dent on the ground. Iwanienko wants to get back to his feet. Iwanienko has his hands over his head blocking the strikes from Dent. Dent working for the choke.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Iwanienko prevents Dent from getting a body triangle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Harvey Dent dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Iwanienko shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Dent defends it nicely. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Dent. Iwanienko tries to clinch there but Dent circles away.
Dent fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Iwanienko, pushing him back against the cage. Iwanienko misses with a knee strike.

Iwanienko is trying to maintain a safe position but Dent gets an underhook and turns Iwanienko into the cage. Dent decides to pull guard. Dent manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dent can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Iwanienko is looking to escape. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Harvey Dent wasn't active enough on the ground. Iwanienko keeps the fight on the outside. Dent closes the distance and clinches up with Iwanienko, looking for a takedown. Dent pushes Iwanienko against the cage but Iwanienko circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Dent takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Wladimir Iwanienko seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Iwanienko throws a head kick that misses. Dent tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Dent is breathing heavily. Dent shoots in but no luck this time. Wladimir Iwanienko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harvey Dent. Iwanienko scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dent tries to score a power double leg takedown but Iwanienko sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Dent somewhat.

Dent has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Iwanienko. Dent displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Iwanienko. Iwanienko misses with a leg kick and Dent counters with a nice leg kick. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Dent fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Iwanienko looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Dent is fending him off so far but Iwanienko persists. Nope, Dent circles away and we're back to standing. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Wladimir Iwanienko will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!

Iwanienko dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Dent. That did some damage! Wladimir Iwanienko is winning the standup battle so far. Dent thuds his shin into the meat of Iwanienko's side. Iwanienko darts in and clinches Dent up against the cage. Iwanienko misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Dent.

He's managed to get a loose triangle. Iwanienko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Iwanienko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Dent trying to control the position from guard on top but Iwanienko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Dent postures up in Iwanienko's guard and throws a big left but Iwanienko blocks it. Harvey Dent has got the better of the ground game so far.
