Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Masahiko Kimura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Furious George (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). George is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Lamb of God - Descending. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Furious George!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kimura tries to move into range but George moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
George throws a nice looking combination but Kimura bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
George looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Kimura is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
George is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Kimura defends it well.
George is thwarting Kimura's attempts to control the position.
George wants to work for an arm triangle but Kimura is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
George is looking to take a break and control but Kimura is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
George prevents Kimura from improving his position.
Kimura is working hard here to advance position.
George is keen to just control but Kimura is a slippery customer.

George is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kimura doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time George.

George lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
George looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Kimura avoiding damage under a succession of punches from George.
Kimura is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of George's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take George's back!
The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Kimura's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.
Kimura lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
George breaks Kimura's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
George postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Kimura manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
George is trying desperately to improve position.
George throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.

George tries to reverse the position but Kimura maintains control.
George sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
George moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
George lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kimura!
Kimura bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Kimura is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but George has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Kimura is looking to defend but George has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Kimura! George pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Kimura taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Furious George!
During a confident post fight interview, Furious George thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
