With a record of 21 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Denis Opal!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cheese feints a jab promting Opal to slip. Cheese then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Opal slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
A head kick misses from Opal.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cheese.

Cheese rushes Opal and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Opal struggles to land a body shot inside as Cheese controls his hands.

Opal jumps guard.
Cheese throws a big right hand that misses.
Opal will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Opal wants to sweep but no luck.
Cheese trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Opal manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Opal decides to stand and escape the position.
Cheese tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Opal paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Opal lands a head kick. Cheese smiles back at him and beckons him forward.

Cheese drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Opal wants to control but Cheese postures up.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Cheese decides to take the fight back to the feet.
Opal closes the distance and clinches up with Cheese, looking for a takedown. Opal pushes Cheese against the cage but Cheese circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Cheese stuffs the takedown.
Opal throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cheese's waist but Cheese gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Opal off to one side.
Terry Cheese has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Denis Opal.
Opal throws a head kick but Cheese moves out of range.
Cheese throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Opal's waist but Opal gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Cheese off to one side.

Opal tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Opal tries to stall but Cheese uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Opal closes the distance and clinches up with Cheese, looking for a takedown. Opal pushes Cheese against the cage but Cheese circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Opal seems a little lost for a moment, as Cheese dominates the positioning.

Cheese decides to stand back up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Cheese shoots for a takedown but Opal saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Opal has managed to clinch.
Cheese using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Opal has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Opal misses with a body shot.

and Cheese makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.

Cheese throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Opal was covering up waiting for the punch and Cheese finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Cheese is nestled in close to Opal, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Opal is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Cheese trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Opal bucks Cheese off and manages to get back to his feet!

Opal clinches.
Cheese tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Opal just stands there and leans against the cage.
Opal lands with a light punch inside.

Opal pulls Cheese into guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Opal holds on and takes a little breather.
Cheese is pushing down on Opal's leg trying to pass to half guard. Opal is fighting to maintain full guard but Cheese has managed to sneak the leg through.
Cheese is thwarting Opal's attempts to control the position.
Cheese is controlling the pace.

Opal moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Opal wants to sweep here but Cheese controlling him for the moment.
Opal is trying to keep Cheese in close.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

That was a close second round but I would say that Terry Cheese will probably get the nod.

Opal is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Cheese can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
